Free Data Capture 1.0

Free Data Capture (FDC) is free software with which the user can capture texts and images from the screen of the computer and then save them on a file. The images and data can be captured from various locations including screens, webpages etc. FDC can be hidden in the tray, which is very convenient.

The capturing process is very simple. When capturing, a single dialog box pops up, which has two sides. On the left side the captured text or image appears as a thumbnail. In order to capture an image you will have to press Ctrl+Alt+Print Screen. The images can be saved in various formats JPEG, GIF, and BMP .To capture a text, you simply select it with the right button of your mouse and choose the option ‘Copy’ from the menu. There is also the ‘Filter’ button, which gives you the opportunity to process and edit the captured text or image.
There are a number of changes that you can do to the text; for example, trim, parse words, remove punctuation, and many more. The program is completely free, which is its major advantage. In my opinion the program is worth downloading.
